Building Your
Business

You’ll find some very basic, start at the beginning resources for getting
your business online.
This is a Back to Basics
resource and intended for those just starting out. The Real Newbies!
Based on the sheer numbers of requests I have been getting, it is apparent
that Back to Basics is truly lost in the avalanche of resources available.
There are a lot of steps necessary before Traffic Getting or SEO. Feel
free to let me know if there is anything specific you would like to see
here.

Business cards, t-shirts, hats, postcards, magnetic signs,
magnetic business cards, etc.

Business cards are a must to promote your
business off-line. Even if you sell on eBay, IOffer, or
Bonzale and ship physical products, it’s a good idea to include
a business card in each order. Not only does it show
professionalism, and you’ll be easy to find in the future for
repeat purchases.

You can purchase hosting through either of
these. However, though I have no personal experience with either as
far as hosting, the research I have done is pretty much
unanimous that there are much better hosting programs with
easier control and upgrade potential.

You will need to point your domain to where you
will be hosting it (if different carrier)

Don’t worry it’s easy.

There are several other inexpensive choices.
These are the two that I personally use most often.

Hosting Plan:
This is where you domain will reside. In other
words this is the final destination for your domain (and
ultimately for your
customers).

Note: There are several plans to choose
from. If you only need a simple website, you are probably
more than safe to go with the lowest price package. You can
always upgrade later.

If you are planning on having several domains,
you might want to consider the Baby plan. There is a lot
more room to grow and you can have unlimited domains. TONS
of email addresses, and lots of bandwidth. Again, you can
always upgrade later.

If you are just starting out, you will most
likely not need anything bigger than this plan at present.

Based on my experience, the support staff is
exceptional and more than supportive from the simplest question
to the more complex. I rate their customer service at
A+++.

Easy to use CPanel makes managing your website
pretty simple. You even have the capability of editing
your site through the CPanel.
